Off to the Show

So, all is ready! The layout is in complete working order and very presentable, all locomotives have been serviced and all track cleaned. The curtains to go around the underside of the baseboards have been made and are ready to hang, and I even have a Swiss flag to hang at the centre to hide the join. Such tools as may be needed at the show are being collected together and all is set.

My colleague who will be operating the layout with me is scheduled to arrive on Wednesday. Now I just have to wait … and buy Swiss chocolate to keep us going!

Do come to the Stamford Model Railway Show if you are reading this this in time: 9th and 10th May at Stamford Welland Academy. Advance tickets are on sale until Friday night, but tickets can also be bought on the door. Bus 182 will get you to the gates of the Academy from all over Stamford (leaving Bus Station on the hour) on the Saturday. We are in Hall 2, stand 11.
